Descripción
London, Lovell Reeve, 1857. Near square 8vo. xii, 358 pp., 20 nicely hand-coloured lithographed plates. Publisher' s green embossed cloth with gilt vignette (of a crab) on the front board. Plain spine with gilt title. = A nice guide with fine illustrations. Small stamps of two former owners on front flyleaf, including that of the renowned French crustacean specialist Jacques Forest. Binding a bit shakey, otherwise a good copy, however with the spine rebacked in quite a simple fashion.
