About the Book:-Being journey through Persia and Afghanistan to India via Meshed and Herat and Kandahar. This is the travelogue of the author who traveled from Constantinople in Turkey to Khikarpur in sindh (Pakisthan) from August 1872 to January 1873. As with travelogues this to has a vivid picture of the areas that the author traveled through. The people, their customs, their way of life, the topography, occasional political observances constitute the body of this work. The author traveled through Turkey, Iran and Afghanistan to reach his destination. He traveled via Poti, Tiflis, Baku, Teheran, Meshed, Herat, Kandihan and through the Bolan Pass to reach his terminus. This book is a reprint of the 1877 edition.
