Asking the recipient for two theatre seats for his sister and nephew: "Je t'adresse mon neveu et ma sœur qui viennent de dîner avec moi, peux-tu leur donner deux places pour ce soir? Si, oui, tu me feras plaisir". - Abel was an actor at the famous Théâtre de l'Ambigu. He was married to the actress Gabrille Elluini (1849-1921) from 1882 until their divorce in 1886. - With minimal tears and stains, slightly yellowed in the upper margin.
