To a scholar, writing that he looks forward to reading a lecture the recipient recently held at the Institut Catholique on the "religious question in Geneva", asking when it is to be published, and requesting that he either mail him a copy or, if the publication is delayed, to let him have the use of the manuscript or its prinicpal pages. Narfon concludes with a promise to cite the work in his own writing: "Je désirerais beaucoup lire la belle conférence que vous avez donnée récemment à l'Institut catholique sur la question religieuse à Genève. Voudriez-vous avoir l'obligeance de me dire quand elle sera publiée, de m'en envoyer alors un exemplaire et, si cette publication doit trop tarder, de m'en communiquer le manuscrit ou les bonnes feuilles.
