No marks or inscriptions. Creasing to lower corners of covers, none to arched spine. A clean very tight copy with bright unmarked very slightly indented boards, lightly foxed tanned page edges and no bumping to corners. 347pp. This study documents the inside story of interrogation by the Royal Ulster Constabulary from 1976 to 1979 and the accompanying political cover-up. Why was ill-treatment not stopped ? Was it a systematic instrument of policy sanctioned from above ? Very scarce in the UK.
