Gilt title on the spines. = The complete series with numerous contributions on geophysics, including much on theoretical and practical seismology. The last volume, published in 1944 was probably never completed. There is no title page and index, and an obituary of the German seismologist Carl Mainka, separately paginated, seems to be the last contribution (here bound in the front of volume 11). A former owner added a lose hand-written list of contents. After WWII publication publication did not resume. A very good set, well-bound.
