Descripción
This is an almost very good softcover copy with just some wear and an abrasion to the front cover. Otherwise clean inside and out. This catalog was prepared to accompany the exhibition at the museum in Goianas which then travelled to Brasilia and finally the Espaco Cultural in Recife, Pernambuco at the end of 1993. Includes a letter from Blackwell to Lisa Phillips at the Whitney describing the exhibition and her last 12 years in Brazil. Short introductory essay by Laurie Weitzenkorn. Text in English, German and Portuguese. 12 paintings reproduced in color plates. Exhibition history. Biographical sketch. 12" high X 9" wide, about 25 pages.
