Trampe, Halle, 1757-1764. Folio-size loose nature printing (36.5 x 23.1 cm). Well preserved nature printing with additional hand-colouring and printed caption (also printed: Tab. LXXXVI). = A rare, early example of nature printing. This being one of the largest prints made by Kniphof, the imprint near reaching the top and bottom edge. This print in good condition. A bit wrinkled on top left corner. Some occasional spotting. One tiny holes on left margin, another in the top. Edges a bit frayed, with a few short tears and chips, otherwise very good.
