Contemporary, probably original, blind wrappers. = In this work by the German geologist and palaeontologist Hanns Bruno Geinitz (1814-1900) the author described and figured well-preserved fossil molluscs (gastropods, bivalves), brachiopods and some other invertebrates collected by the Swiss-American geologist Jules Marcou (1824-1898). Published in the academy's Nova acta, or Abhandlungen, this, however, apparently being an offprint. Uncut. Two old stamps on title, scattered spotting, a few leaves a bit toned, otherwise very good.
