Batavia, Ter Lands-Drukkerij, 1866. 8vo (21.7 x 13.0 cm). vii, 398 pp. Slightly later half calf with marbled boards. Gilt title on the spine. = An important catalogue, with notes on the distribution, local names, etc. This copy was bound for the Dutch botanist Melchior Treub (1851-1910), director of the Buitenzorg (now Bogor) botanical gardens. It may have served Treub in writing his (later) edition of the same work. The rear board paper cover a bit wrinkled and partly chipped at the edges. Apart from a stamp on the rear of the title page, all the text pages are clean. A very good copy. Cat. BM(NH) p. 283 (under Buitenzorg); Stafleu and Cowan 13.872.
