Original printed wrappers. = Rare monograph on wasps with some fine illustrations and the inclusion of new taxa, including many new species. Authorship of new taxa is variable, some are by Sichel alone, others by De Saussure only, still others have shared authorship. The descriptions are in Latin but the introduction with general (supraspecific) remarks and the footnotes are in French. Uncut. Small stamp and inscription (hommage, perhaps by one of the authors but hard to read) on half-title, old private book label on French title page. One plate very lightly spotted, as usual, weak dampstain to the wrappers and plates; otherwise a very good copy. Horn-Schenkling II(4), p. 29.
