Manualetto che illustra tre metodi per scommettere alle corse dei cavalli, concepiti dall’autore titolare di un’agenzia fondata a Newmarket nel 1867 e spostata a Londra nel 1878. Sul frontespizio: Petit traité, expliquant deux méthodes entièrement nouvelles pour obtenir toute l’année des bénéfices hebdomadaires, toujours bons et quelquefois surprenantes, ainsi qu’une troisième méthode également nouvelle par laquelle, en employant des capitaux d’une certaine importance, on peut réaliser des gains certains toutes les semaines et cela sans aucun risque de perdre la mise de fonds engagée.
