Descripción
Taxidermy on naturalistic base (41 cm tall, including base). = A very nicely made, vintage taxidermy parrot. The crimson rosella, Platycercus elegans (Gmelin) is a parakeet from southeastern Australia, in particular New South Wales and Tasmania, but also occurring localy along the Queensland sea board, and in the eastern parts of Victoria. Sometimes it is divided into several - up to seven - subspecies. This specimen seems to belong to the nominate form, but perhaps an expert may hold a different view. An attractive item. Note: we do not ship this item outside the EU.
