This is a fine hardcover copy without dust jacket as issued with no wear at all. SIGNED by the artist, Dan Dailey, in ink and with an elaborate drawing on tan paper page facing the title-page. Inscribed warmly and dated 1987. Also signed on the title-page. The drawing is of the artist at his drawing board sketching a self portrait drawing what appears to be an ancient Greek vase form: the kylix. Otherwise completely clean. This monograph was prepared to accompany the exhibition at the Rosenwald-Wolf Gallery in Philadelphia. The exhibition then traveled to The Renwick Gallery in Washington, D. C. Essays by Henry Geldzahler and William Warmus. Checklist. Exhibition history. Numerous full-page color plates + black & white drawings of the pieces. 12" high X 9" wide, 63 pages.
