Near-contemporary black cloth; typed label on the spine. = An extremely well-illustrated work on insects and some other suger cane pests (including a monkey, squirrels, etc.) and their traces - useful for identification - on stems and leaves. This work forms a part of the Handboek ten dienste van de Suikerriet-cultuur en de rietsuiker-fabricage op Java, being volume two. However, it is the only part in this series which deals with (noxious) animals. Library stamp on half-title and title. This copy has been used in the tropics: some worming, mostly in the gutter; otherwise, however, a very good copy.
