With frontispiece illustration (Pulling the Oxen Down the Precipice) reproduced in sepia from the original edition and a fold-out map. 12mo, in the original black cloth, the upper cover with Lakeside Press emblem in gilt within gilt boarder, spine gilt ruled and lettered, t.e.g. xxiii, 307 pp. A fine copy, internally pristine, spotless, the binding strong with firm hinges, the cloth clean and bright.
