8vo., First Edition, with 14 plates on 8, 6 detailed drawings of the vessel in colour and 2 maps (one double-page); blue cloth, backstrip lettered in silver, blue top, a near fine copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter lightly chafed at head and tail of backstrip. Excellent record of FAULKNOR with a detailed account of her wartime service with the Home Fleet, Force H and finally in the Arctic. Includes a brief but useful account of her forebears. Appendices give statistics, wartime modifications, battler honours, commanding officers, enemy submarines sunk by the F-class and the ultimate fates of the 8th Flotilla.
