Disbound. = A well-illustrated work, mainly on bird extinction, and with a strong emphasis on the dodo, and near-extinct New Zealand birds. Written by the German zoologist (principally ornithologist and entomologist) Friedrich Carl (or Karl) Noll (1832-1893). Published in the society's Berichten. A very good, clean copy. ADDED: a portrait of the author.
