Uniform publisher's grey boards with printed labels on the spines (text volumes); disbound, without covers (plates). = A rare part - especially in original boards - of the Ultimate Encyclopaedia and the largest of all great Encyclopaedias and the most important work published during the French Enlightement. This section - complete in itself - written by the French soldier and writer Louis-Félix Guynement de Kéralio (1731-1793). A very good, set of the complete text and plates. Uncut. With the widest possible margins. Some wear to the spines and boards, several labels more abraded; all 59 plates in the atlas part (two more are in the text part) damp-stained, the first rather soiled; otherwise, a very good, clean and complete text set.
