Paris, Société Zoologique de France, 1884. 8vo (24.5 x 16.2 cm). 20 pp. Original pictorial wrappers and yellow protective wrappers. = A seldom-seen work, being an offprint fro the society's Bulletin. This journal itself is uncommon. Jousseaume was the first to break the "cowries" up into more natural groups. Therefore, many genera are new, and still in use today. Provenance: with a handwritten dedication by Jousseaume to Deslongchamps. Stamp of the American malacologist Richard Irwin Johnson (1925-2020) in the top margin of the front wrappers, otherwise a very good, clean copy.
