Three papers in one. 4to (29.5 x 23.5 cm). 97 [12; 14; 71] pp., 31 [0; 2; 29] fine plates of corals, called "Lichtdruck" von M. Jaffé, Wien. Original half cloth with mounted printed title page and spine. = Important contributions to the Cnidaria, in particular the corals of the Red Sea. The first two papers dealing with stony corals, the second one in particular from deep sea environments. The third, and by far largest contribution deals with shallow water corals. The latter two works include many new species. These three papers form part of the Berichte der Kommission für Ozeanographische Forschungen. Forschungen im Roten Meere. Boards a bit soiled and age-toned, otherwise very good, well-bound.
