Lithographed portrait of Rumphius, one lithographed frontispiece (of two), 40 lithographed plates (of 41), two folded maps, one folded table. Uniform cloth. Spines with gilt title and ornaments. = Published in three volumes (the first in two parts), with a Supplement. This is of one of the most important floras of Indonesia. Rare, especially when complete. However, this is only a working copy, as it lacks plate VII, and the frontispiece to volume III. Some copies have an additional, Dutch title, but in this set all titles are in Latin. Rebacked, with the old spines laid down, but subsequently much worn, front hinge of the volume I(1) broken front board and a few text leaves detached; the Supplement with extensive worming in the lower margin, the Rumphius plate with some small worming in the lower margin.
