Spine with green paper label with printed title. = Deals, e.g., with "Bäume und Sträucher der Wälder", "Heilkräuter und Giftpflanzen" and "Heilpflanzen des Chiron, Achilles, Minerva, Glaukos". Johann Dierbach (1788-1845) was a botanist from Heidelberg and published a Flora Heidelbergensis in 1819-1820. Armorial bookplate of J. Timmers, "Fortiter et suaviter" on the front pastedown, and the name A. A. Timmers in a neat old hand in the top margin of the title page. Board edges and spine cover rubbed; some mostly vague damp staining in the gutter, beginning and end, othrwise very good. Rare. Not in Stafleu and Cowan.
