This is a fine hardcover copy in a fine dust jacket with no wear at all. Completely clean. This monograph was prepared to accompany the exhibition at Silverstein Photography in New York in January through February 2008. Essay by Max Kozloff. Frank Paulin (1926- ) was born in Pittsburgh and by the end of the 1950's was studying at the New School under the renowned art director Alexey Brodovitch. In 1957, Paulin celebrated his first solo artist exhibition at the Limelight Gallery. This book shows Frank Paulin's work to be in the same genre as other New York School photographers of the 1950's and 60's. All photographs reproduced in black & white. Superb book. Book designed by the great Massimo Vignelli. 8" high X 12" wide, 175 pages. Stated first edition. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
