Descripción

London, Duncan and Malcolm. 1842. 8vo (22.0 x 14.1 cm). xxiii, 565 pp. Original blind-stamped cloth. Spine with gilt title. Yellow endpapers. = Unaltered reprint (or title edition) of the 1828 first editon. Mollusca cover a great part. Insects are not included. A former owner must have some malacological interest as indicated by the presence of a drawing of a freshwater snail in one text page margin, and the insertion of a small paper sheet with three more such images (the sheet creating some offsetting to two text leaves). Fore edge uncut. Binding faded and a bit worn at edges; otherwise a very good copy. Quite uncommon - no other copies on the internet.
