This is a very good softcover copy with just light wear. Completely clean inside and out. This is a sale catalog for an auction held at Sotheby's London and staged over four days, June 2, 3, 9 and 10th, 1988. Sale code: "ELEGANCE". The section on private press books included works by Kelmscott Press, Vale Press, Eragny Press, S. Dominic's Press, Shakespeare Head Press, Gregynog Press, Golden Cockerell Press, Nonesuch Press, and Officina Bodoni among others. The Drawings section contained material from the Archive of J.M. Dent and Son. 854 lots in the sale. Almost all illustrated, some in color. No prices realized sheets, just price estimates for each lot. Index. 11" high X 8" wide, 218 pages.
