This is a very good softcover copy with only light wear and small scrapes to front cover. Completely clean inside and out. Spine not creased, binding firm. Essay by Daniel Robbins. This survey of Jean Xceron's painting was the first major museum exhibition of this modern Greek painter in the United States. The Guggenheim had been collecting Xceron's work since the early 1930's. Selected bibliography. Exhibition history. 58 works in the exhibition. 31 black & white illustrations + 6 color plates. 10" high X 7" wide, 59 pages. The catalog was designed by Herbert Matter.
