THE UNIQUE COPY PRINTED ON FINE JAPON NACRE PAPER of this long puppet play by expatriate intellectual and dilettante Henry Church. 183 pp. A total of 101 copies were printed, all for private distribution: 100 copies on Arches wove paper and a unique copy on Japon nacré (a luminous Japanese paper, often translated as "pearl Japan"). THIS IS THE COPY ON JAPON NACRE, and it is affectionately inscribed by Ernest Aulard, the printer, for his daughter Blanchette. Huge margins. 8vo. Original printed wraps. Uncut and unopened.
