Original green cloth with white embossed title on the spine and front board. Marbled endpapers. Speckled edges. = A seldom seen, well-illustrated work by the mining engineer and director of the Société des mines de Balia-Karaïdin (near Istanbul), Georges Ralli, on the Carboniferous of Turkey, with a rich and fairly well-preserved flora. This is a much expanded, updated and much better illustrated edition of a work first published in 1896. Some light, marginal staining to the rear board, otherwise an excellewnt, clean and unmarked copy.
