Single leaf (27.8 x 21.6 cm), with letterhead of the Union. = A typed letter, signed by hand, written by the American malacologist Constance E. Boone (1917-1999), directed at the American malacologist and palaeontologist Torrance Crawford Raymond (1938-2017), welcoming him as member of the American Malacological Union on March 21st, 1976. Horizontal fold, edges weakly creased, otherwise very good. It is rare to see such an ephemeral piece of American malacological history.
