Original, uniform printed wrappers. = A detailed and well-illustrated monograph of Africa's most important river, written by Prince Omar Toussoun. "Prince Mohamed Omar Toussoun (1872-1944) was an Egyptian prince of the Muhammad Ali dynasty. . He was famous for his excellence in many fields, his charitable works, his discoveries and his writings in Geography, History and Archaeology. He published many books and maps in Arabic and French, and he was the first to suggest sending a delegation from Egypt to the Versailles conference to demand its independence" (Wikipedia). Forming the institute's Mémoires, Tome (Volume) 8, 9 and 10. Uncut. Spines covers frayed and slightly chipped at edges, of second and third volume spilt along spine fold; rear wrapper tattered, split in two. Internally, however, very good, clean.
