8vo., First English Edition, with a portrait frontispiece and a plate, fore-edges moderately spotted, neat signatures on front paste-down and half-title verso; original blue cloth, upper board lettered in blind, gilt back, a very good, clean copy. Louis-Victor-Leon Rochechouart was an aide to Tsar Alexander and fought on the Russian side in the campaigns of 1812, 1813 and 1814. Very scarce, especially in this condition. Surprisingly, not in Sandler.
