Habana, Sociedad Cubana de Histioria Natural "Felipe Poey", 1915-1942. Eight volumes in six. 8vo (25.0 x 17.0 cm). Ca. 2000 pp.; numerous plates and maps. Uniform half cloth over marbled boards. Spines with gilt title. Speckled edges. Original printed wrappers bound in. = A well-bound run, including the start, of Cuba's most important natural history periodical. Deals with zoology (entomology, malacology, ornithology, etc.), botany, and even some ethnography. Bound for Cornell University, with their gilt-embossed logo on each spine foot. Volumes 1-4 each bound separately; vols 9-10, and 15-16 bound in two, in matching full cloth. A very good set.
