1st edition in German, Complete in 2 volumes bound in 1 physical volume: xvi,[4],930 [= i.e.396] + xii,[8],572,[14] pp., with 3 folding plates out of text (copper engravings, 2 in 1st part with few small wormholes, and 1 plate in 2nd part), 20cm., text in German in Gothic script, contemporary hardcover, leather spine with 5 raised bands, gilt title on spine, some wear at corners and upper side of spine, 2 small worm holes in lower part of spine, 2 modern ex-libris stamps of previous owner on first blanco endpaper, one old handwritten ex-libris on title page, some occasional browning and foxing (text always well readable), good condition, [J.G.
