With vignette illustration to the title-page, a full-page frontispiece and twenty-three addition full-page illustrations throughout. 8vo, publisher's original green cloth, the upper cover lettered, blocked and pictorially decorated in red, the spine decorated in red and lettered in gilt. x, 328, [8 ads.] pp. A very good and pleasing copy, well preserved with minimal evidence of age or use, the cloth quite clean and the gilt and red both bright, hinges strong, contemporary ephemeral portraits of Haggard affixed to the free-fly and pastedown by a previous collector.
