Descripción
Bombay, The Bombay Natural History Society, 1909. 8vo (24.6 x 16.7 cm). 21 pp.; 9 (groups of) text figures, one fine, lithographed plate. Disbound. = The illustrations show the taxonomically important aspects of snake heads, shown here in great detail. The British naturalist Frank Wall (1868-1950) was exclusively interested in snakes, mostly from India and neighbouring countries. According to Adler he wrote about 215 papers over a 30-year period. Extracted from the Society's Journal, volume 19(2). A very good, unmarked copy.
