Original printed front wrapper. = An important work by the British botanist George Bentham (1800-1884) ".whose classification of seed plants (Spermatophyta), based on an exhaustive study of all known species, served as a foundation for modern systems of vascular plant taxonomy (Britannica). This is the Society's complete Journal, Volume 13(70-72), i.e., three numbers combined into one. Slight chiping to front wrapper top edge; rear wrapper lacking; otherwise an excellent, clean copy.
