Gilt title on the spine. = Important ornithological contribution with fine illustrations of new and poorly known species, e.g. from Brazil, China, Borneo [Kalimantan], and New Zealand. Collected by members of the Austrian Novara expedition around the world. Written by the Austrian ornithologist August von Pelzeln (1825-1891). A few, isolated spots, otherwise in very good condition.
