Bella edizione del 1687 di questa raccolta di opere del medico inglese Thomas Sydenham (1624-1689). La prima opera "Observationes medicae" è la sua celebre che venne utilizzato come testo medico tanto che lui era conosciuto come l'Ippocrate inglese. Tra le sue scoperte la malattia conosciuta come "Il ballo di san Vito". Ritratto di Sydenham inciso da A. Nagtegael. Segue "Epistolae responsoriae duae" sulla "On epidemicis" e "On the lues venerea".
