Descripción

Paris, Annales de Paléontologie, 1927-1932. Three papers in one. 4to (27.0 x 21.7 cm). Title pages; 113 [38; 42; 33] pp.; 20 [4; 7; 9] fine, tissue-guarded phototype plates with explanatory leaves. In blind embossed cloth binder with typed title mounted on the spine. = Three well-illustrated studies by the French palaeontologist and malacologist Maurice Jules Marie Collignon (1893-1978) on marine invertebrates from the Madagascar Miocene, mainly molluscs and echinoderms (this paper co-authored by J. Cotteau), and Mesozoic, the latter chiefly ammonites, and bivalves. Diego-Suarez is an old name for the town of Antsiranana at the northern tip of Madagascar; Menabe is a province on the central-west coast of Madagascar. A very good, clean set. Rare.
