Showmen, pop-stars, "talking heads" and many other's faces are familiar though they should not be familiar at all. The stars appear and go out without any trace in our mind and soul. On the other hand we know nothing about our outstanding contemporaries: science creators - physicists, biologists, mathematicians, historians, - who are familiar to the world. The artist makes us peer at their faces. These are not only photos but also portraites. One can see the power, refinement, simplicity and wisdom.
