Original printed wrappers. = A well-illustrated work on fossil (Pleistocene) plants from Poland. Partly written in English. The plates show beautifully preserved pollen, seeds, and nuts. Written by the Polish botanist and nature conservatist Wladislaw Szafer (1886-1970). This is the complete Volume XI of the institute's monographs. Very uncommon. Wrappers marginally sunned; spine ends frayed; otherwise, an excellent, clean and unmarked copy.
