Title page, iv, 460 pp. Original uniform printed wrappers. = The ANSP Proceedings were the foremost zoological journal in the U.S.A., being especially strong in Mollusca and ornithology. Authors in this early volume include, e.g., Coues (e.g. revision Procellariidae, parts III-V), Elliot, and Cassin; Meehan (botany), Cope (herpetology of tropical America, etc.), Leconte (Coleoptera), Isaac Lea (malacology, mainly Unionidae). Especialy Coues contributed much. Uncut. Wrapper edges a bit soiled, frayed and or/chipped, as usual with uncut copies. A very good, complete volume. Rare.
