Contemporary wrappers with hand-written title. = First detailed description of this species, which is regarded as typical for the Recent Lingulata. This is a separately paginated offprint from the Journal de Conchyliologie, with the title neatly calligraphed on the front wrapper. Uncut. Rear wrapper with a large tear, plates a bit foxed, otherwise a very good copy of this rare offprint.
