Original, stiff printed wrappers. = One of the few works on the malacofauna of this region. The systematical part takes up about one third of the book. Particularly strong in Hydrobiidae, and edible bivalves (Pectinidae, Ostraeidae, Veneridae). This is Vie et Milieu Supplément 20. Slight paper loss in a blank area of the half title and title, otherwise an unmarked, near mint copy.
