Addison intraprese il Gran Tour d'Europa nel 1699, che determinà questo diario di viaggio italiano, il cui manoscritto mandò a casa per la pubblicazione prima del suo ritorno. In-12°, pp. 303, [9], with pictures of coins and medallions. Leather binding with bands and title at the back. Good state. Addison took the Grand Tour of Europe in 1699, leading to this Italian travelogue, the manuscript of which he sent home for publication before his own return.
