EDITION LIMITED TO 550 NUMBERED COPIES OF EACH VOLUME (FIRST SERIES NO. 524; SECOND SERIES NO. 272). Arguably the most elusive of Millais' splendid monographs. The coloured plates are by Beatrice Parsons, Winifred Walker, E.F. Brennand and Archibald Thorburn.
