Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn or creased with slight traces of storage. 208pp. Based on the BBC TV production for which the authors travelled to twelve English communities where they focused on a few people in each locality to understand their lives and to reflect their hopes and fears for their particular patch in the future. Their travels included The Black Country, Saddleworth, Hoghton, Ashington, Whitby, Hull's Docklands Hull, Sidney Sussex College in Cambridge, Kersey, Bow in East London, Portland, St Just-in-Penwith and Guiting Power.
