Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn or creased with slight rubbing to corners. 327pp. The Swedish writer and champion of social refoms, Fredrika Bremer received a warm welcome on her visit to the United States and Cuba im the middle of the 19th century. This is the story of her visit including much of her writing about it. Illustrated. Very scarce in the UK with dust jacket.
