Descripción

Text auch englisch. Einband leicht berieben. Papierbedingt leicht gebrt. - Its is a pleasure for the Spanish Psycho-Analytical Society and the Madrid Psycho-Analytical Association to invite you to take part in the 33rd International Psycho-Analytical Congress in Madrid. We feel very honoured since it is the first time that the 1PA has chosen a Spanish speaking country and we hope that our Portuguese and Latin-American colleagues share our satisfaction at this acknowledgement of the psychoanalytical development in our countries. With this idea in mind, we recall that Freud wrote in his letter about the first translation of his Complete Works into Castilian (1923): .the desire to read the immortal Don Quixote in Cervantess original led me to learn the beautiful Castilian language without a teacher. In the first Psychoanalytical Congress in Salzburg (1908), Freud devoted five hours to expound clinical presentation of the psychoanalysis of the Rat Man. In the 75th anniversary of this event we expect that you will consider, as we do, the theme chosen for this Congress: The Psychoanalyst at Work, very appropiate, in so far as this is in keeping with Freuds most important legacy.
